5. 24 sc, but insert the hook only into the back loops

7. 24 sc
8. Sc every 5th and 6th st together (20 sc)
9. 20 sc
10. 20 sc
11. 20 sc
12. Sc every 4th and 5th st together (16 sc)
13. Sc every 3th and 4th st together (12 sc)
Stuff the body. Switch to light brown.

15. 2 sc in every 2nd st (18 sc)
16. 2 sc in every 3th st (24 sc)
17. 24 sc
18. 24 sc
19. 24 sc
Switch to black.
20. 24 sc
21. 24 sc, but insert the hook only into the back loops.
22. Sc every 5th and 6th st together (20 sc)
23. 20 sc
24. Sc every 4th and 5th st together (16 sc)
25. 16 sc
26. Sc every 3th and 4th st together (12 sc)
Stuff the head and the hat.
27. Sc every 2nd and 3th st together (8 sc)
28. 8 sc

30. Fold the hat and crochet the two sides together with 3 sc.
31. Ch 1, 1 sc into the 2nd st, 1 sc (2 sc)
32. Ch 1, 1 sc into the 2nd st (1 sc)
Fasten off. Weave in end.
Brim (with black):
24 sc into the loops from round 21.
1. 2 sc in every 4th st (30 sc)
2. 2 sc in every 3th st (40 sc)
1 sl, fasten off. Weave in end.
Nose (with light brown):
1. Ch 1, 6v in ring
2. 6 sc
Fasten off. Sew the nose to the face.
Embroider the mouth with black.
Pull the ribbon through the stitches on top of the hat and sew the ends together.
